We started our morning at 8:00 and no matter how much I tried to slow the morning down to enjoy every moment, I think it lasted all of 22 minutes. :)

Our kids get 3 gifts and a stocking. Santa stuffs their stockings pretty full.
Every year I am reminded how much I love the simplicity of this method. It makes my job so much easier when shopping and the kids get plenty! The kids know what to expect and I think it makes them appreciate the 3 gifts they get.
A last minute sewing idea, I made the girls play capes which they love. I applied the finishing touches on Christmas Eve. I hate sewing with that silky fabric so I didn't do my best.

Grandma came to join us for breakfast and to see what the kids got.
Thankfully our church started at 11:00 so with Christmas lasting 22 minutes, we didn't feel too rushed to get out the door.
We came home, set up the Wii and played our favorite game.

We spent our evening with Kevin's family.
A nice Christmas dinner with a view of the city.
The kids got one more chance to dress up and do the Nativity, which they loved!
We had a nice evening and I felt like a complete zombie by the end of it... I needed sleep.
