November Pictures

So I had a little playgroup at my house last month.
I didn't get a big turn out because I scared everyone away with my
worry of Frankie getting sick for his upcoming surgery.

I am grateful that everyone has been so considerate on the matter.

This is cute Leah.  She is about a month older than Frankie.
She is adorable and her wave hello/goodbye just melted me.
Such a doll.

I think Frankie was taken by her too.  Leah and her piggy tails.
Max who is 2 came as well.  Sadly I don't have a picture of him. :(
I accidentally deleted about 30 pictures on my camera thinking I had already downloaded them!!
I'm SO bummed!
These were the only two I have .
Thanks Sharae and Kristin for coming!

I got to volunteer in MaryJane's Preschool Class for Thanksgiving.
It was so cute to watch all the dressed up Pilgrim and Indians sit down for a big feast.

MaryJane just loved her costume!

So did Sadie!  She had to try it on too.

Cole felt festive and colored a tie-dye turkey.

What's November without playing in a big pile of leaves?
Fun to have all the kids home the day before Thanksgiving.
Sadie's awesome choice of clothing for the day.

Every year I make our family a picture Calendar.  November is always the month that I take the least amount of photos.  Must be an uneventful month.
Now I have some cute Pilgrims and great leaf pictures.  :)

July Happenings

Most of the photos I took this summer are from my point and shoot camera.
It's easy to tote around.

Fourth of July this year was nice and chill.
We normally try to squeeze a lot in but I was thankful to just enjoy the day.
We started the day out with the neighborhood parade.

Later in the evening we had a small barbecue with some of Kevin's family and lit some street fireworks. Then onto Sugar House park for their big firework show.  It was a perfect evening with a cool summer breeze.
After the morning parade, Sadie decided not to wear her holiday attire anymore.

I had a birthday in July.  And you better believe that I got my favorite cake.  The one I look forward to all year.  The Peanut Butter Chocolate ice cream cake from Cold Stone.
Yum!

I posted this picture because it perfectly captures MaryJane's animation.  She is always so excited for everything and gasps like this with excitement.

My sister-in-law's family owns Classic Skating so we drove down to their new Orem store several times.  My kids love that place!  Bouncing, skating, arcade games and more.
They can't get enough!
I love the 80's gloves they picked out.
MaryJane has a pink pair and wore them for two days straight.

We got to meet our new niece from Ethiopia!
Kevin's brother and wife just adopted her this summer.
She is such a little cutie!!  We love her.

We love going up to Millcreek Canyon for barbecues.
Fun times spent with friends.

The Gardners

The Scalleys

Frankie is always so easy to have around.
We sure love him!

Mash-Up: Happenings

I'm so behind that I'm just going to mash-up a bunch of posts into one to simplify.

Pine Wood Derby
Daddy and Cole making the car.

We didn't place but it was sure fun to watch Cole's excitement at his first Pine Wood Derby.
They raced the cars in twos, twice down the track.  Cole's car was faster both of those times.  So in his mind, he won.  :)  Works for me!

I took MaryJane to see one of my young women's art exhibit at the High School.
MaryJane LOVED Sharpay's pink lockers!
She asks to see them every time we go to the High School, where they filmed High School Musical.

This spring we had a lot of rain, rain, rain.  So out of boredom I challenged Cole to run to the tree and back to see how wet he'd get.  He loved it!
Meanwhile, Sadie was working up a storm inside painting.

It's official, Sadie has graduated from Kindergarten! :(  I love this age!

*******
My sister Jill was just here visiting for and week.  We had such a great time!  My kids just love her!
We felt so lucky that we got a lot of Jill-time this trip!
The first night she was here she introduced us to the Perfect Brownie Pan and the Perfect recipe.  A post all in it's own.
I think we made it a total of three times while she was here.  Yum!
She has got my kids hooked on the music of Wicked.  My girls know the song Popular word for word.  Here she is showing them the video on YouTube.  MaryJane is so darn cute singing this song!

Aunt Jill brought some yummy recipes to try.
This Feta Dip and these delicious Mini Lasagna Cups.  Yum, yum yummy!

For my Mom's birthday, she treated the whole family to the fun Provo Beach Resort.
Perfect way to spend a rainy Memorial Day!

We had a lot of fun with Aunt Jill!  We are always so sad when she leaves.
MaryJane is her newest fan!  Aunt Jill won her over with her very own pillow pet.  It's ties in 1st place with her binky and lovey.  Obsession!

Pictures I'll have to add later when I get them form my sister,
Girls night out with my mom, A trip to the candy factory and a fun convertible ride.

I'm lovin' the mash-up post!
