Summer 2012 Begins!

June 2012

Last day of school!

3rd and 1st grade.

She sure loves her big brother.

Sadie's teacher passed out a Zions bank drawing contest and for days she would work on this after school.  I didn't really entertain it thinking she'd lose interest.  But she worked hard on it and begged me to take her to the bank to submit it. 

Camping with Cole and MaryJane.  Eating fondue.

Well 30 days later, we got a phone call saying that her drawing had won.

Out of 60 entries, 2 winners were picked.

Sadie won $25 and a Zions bank savings account!

Way to go Sadie!

Looks like MaryJane made a haul too.  A pamphlet and 3 suckers!

And Happy Father's Day to a wonderful and much loved Daddy!

Frankie is Two!

Well good morning!

Happy Birthday! Yay for Two!

We love waking up to birthday decor!

It's an exciting day!

He must have known that is was his special day.

Too cute for words.

Frankie is one loved little boy.

He loves the swing and slide and can sign for them both.

One of his favorite songs, If Your Happy and You Know It.

He also likes The Itsy Bitsy Spider.

He has SO many silly faces!

Blowing out the candles or blowing up his hair. 

I think he likes cake.

Camper Floors / May Misc

Memorial Day project!

This is my sad "before" pictures of my camper floors.  I'm always so bad at remembering to take "before" photos.  I'm just to darn anxious to get started!

The floors were yuck.  Old linoleum pealing up in places and tacked down with metal strips on other places.

I got the VCT tile from Home Depot. A case of red and a case of white for $70 total.  

With plenty to spare.  

Measuring out the tile pattern.

Kevin cut the tiles and I glued them down.

We did this project at my parents while my mom watched my kids.  

Missing Frankie after working all day.

Love the transformation!

Replacing the floors changed the feel of the camper dramatically.

I LOVE them!

We couldn't wait to see it with the cushions in.
