Nana was out of town for Sadie's birthday and thought it would be fun to take her to the doll store at Gardner Village to pick out an outfit for her new American Girl Doll.

They had a lot of cute clothes for dolls! Even crocs! (on the shelf above)
And the prices are half of what they are in the catalog!
Nana thought it would be fun to get her a cute nightgown and bunny slippers.

But for whatever reason, once she layed eyes on this simple white robe, we couldn't talk her into picking ANY OTHER THING! Not even a PINK dress!

We asked her why she wanted the robe so bad?
And her reply was, "cuz it's in the Mag-a-zeen with her wearing the white robe and slippers and her hand on the little pink phone!"
Sure enough after returning home, it IS in the magazine just as she described! HA!

Well OKAY then! That settles it! The white robe it is then!

And boy was she just estatic to get that robe!

Afterward we enjoyed the bitter breeze and sunshine while MaryJane LOVED having freedom outdoors! She just screams to go outside rain or shine!

Cole was so happy to tag along on Sadie's special day! He loves Gardner Village.

We filled up on yummy soup, sandwich's and pastry's at the cute little bakery.

She had a wonderful time!

What a special day for her. Cute!
o.K. the picture with her hand on her hip holding up the robe is to much! Your Mom is so great, how fun for Sadie.
What a cute shopping place. I only have boys so no doll shops for me : ( Maybe one day I will have grand daughters. Your mom is too cute. She reminds me of my mom. Blue is her color.
A girl knows what she wants!! The robe is darling. Your mom makes everyone of her grandchildren feel special. Thanks for sharing!
