and finally...Disneyland!

We started off the day by going to the Minnie and Friends breakfast!  The food was yummy and the kids even had mickey mouse french toast!  We met a lot of fun characters!  Minnie Mouse, Pooh, Tiger, Eeyore, Captain Hook, Chip, Fairy God Mother,  Rafiki from the Lion King.  Cole got a kick out of Rafiki's bum!  When we were getting a picture withe Eeyore, Tiger jumped in front of our camera with his arms wide open to block the camera!  The kids loved it!  I HIGHLY recommend doing this activity at Disneyland!

We ate lunch at the yummy Blue Bayou and the yummy Monte Cristo Sandwich!  Sadie had the time of her life meeting the Princess's!  We did the hokey poky with Pocahontas, danced with Belle, Jasmine, and Aurora, and got to meet Cinderella, and a brief hi to Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White.  After which Sadie and Kate had their faces painted with a glittery butterfly.  Sadie was so tired and hot at that point she almost fell asleep getting her face painted.  When it was her turn to met Cinderella she just ran to her with arms wide open!  Oh poor Cinderella!

And to top off the day, Cole and Sadie just LOVED the parade!  I did too!  With the music and the Disney spirit, I admit I got a little teary eyed with excitement!  I'm a dork!  I loved taking the Kids to Disneyland!

Olivia's Birthday!

Nate and Insun's little girl turned One!  Insun did such a great job planning the party with all the cute Korean traditions.
I made this cute little outfit for her present.
She looks so cute in yellow!  I wish I took a picture of her in it. She looked so cute!  We took family photos at the beach with all the girls wearing their bloomers I made.  I'll have to post them when I get them.
"O" is for Olivia.

The kids had a BLAST at the beach!!  Cole loved running from the waves as if they were chasing him.  He felt so quick that he would just giggle and laugh!  Priceless faces!

Can you say yummy?

Bakery's are all over Costa Mesa! But we felt pretty lucky to have found this one by the beach! The best doughnuts EVER! I had to take some pics! I was so amazed at the old fashioned doughnuts. They were sooooo good! Diet? What diet?

I've never seen Old Fashioned ones like these!  Have you?

Sadie was thrilled that they had pink doughnuts!

Beach house!

Kevin, the kids and I stayed with my brother in Costa Mesa.  Just 10 minuets from the beach.  It is really the perfect location!  Close to the beach, close to the freeway, close to Ikea and great shopping, and close to Disneyland!  Plus wonderful weather!  What else is there?  I'm ready to move there!  My parents rented a little two bedroom condo in the upstairs of this cute beach cottage in Newport.  It had georgeous flowers along the walk way!  They smelled
wonderful!  The beach house was perfect for those beach days!  Right a long the beach!  And right in between the Balboa pier and Newport pier!

Stacey and I made these cute beach hats for the girls from the dollar store.
We just added some ribbon!

The rumors are true!

We are back from our trip and I have some blogging catching up to do!  I took 600 pictures!  Better too much than not enough!  I think it was Disneyland that sent me over.  Our drive went really smoothly!  Thanks to the new mini van!  The baby was great too!   The new IN-N-OUT opened in St. George on Tuesday!  Finally!  We love it!  I'm not a huge hamburger fan but hey, when we are near an IN-N-OUT  I can't seam to resist!  Is it the fresh cooked food or the fact we don't have one near by?  Good thing it's a four hour drive for me because between the cheeseburger, fresh fries , and a chocolate milk shake we are lookin' at about 1500 calories or more!  So basically I'll need to jog down there to burn enough calories to eat there!  Yikes!

M-I-C-K-E-Y- M-O-U-S-E !!

Like Kevin, you'll probably think that I have gone nuts!  Here are our Disneyland outfits for the girl cousins.  So easy and so fun to make!  Sad to be a boy in my family.  Just completely out done.   Yesterday as Sadie came inside just screaming with big crocodile tears,  I rush to see what the matter was (thinking she was severely hurt).  Her pink balloon blew away "up to heaven", as Cole described.  I told her not to worry because we will get her a new balloon at Disneyland.  And in her cute little sad Disney Character voice she replied,"Will it match my cute Disneyland dress and cute Disneyland shirt? My Outfit?"  It looks like I might be creating a monster.  She's going to think I have to make her an outfit for every special occasion!  At least I'm having fun doing it!

When I saw this fabric, I couldn't resist!

I'm in love...

with my new ruffler!  Worth every penny!  Have you noticed?  I haven't posted anything in a few days.  I've been busy ruffling!  I love it!  I want to ruffle EVERYTHING!  It makes my work look professional!  I made Sadie and Maryjane these cute bloomers for our California Trip.  Stacey came up and we made some for Kate too.   I've also made cute Disneyland skirts for all the girl cousins.  Which I'll post next.  Oh the possibilities are endless with that thing!  I'm thinking of having a ruffling party at my house for anyone who wants to ruffle!  Ruffle ruffle ruffle!!  Those cute bloomers can be made fast!  They're easy.  I think it took me 45 min start to finish to make Maryjane's.  I'll have to post some pics of the girls wearing them.

This thing can gather AND pleat!

Flash Back!!

My Buddy/Kid Sister Commercial

Do you remember this? Ha Ha Ha!! My brother called me and told me that this commercial reminded him of me. He used to sing it to me all the time! I think I wanted one pretty bad when I was little. "My buddy and me!" And that song! Have fun singing it all day! I can't get it out of my head!

So what do you "tink"?

The other day around 5 o'clock, Sadie was outside wearing her Tinkerbell outfit and the cute wings and wand aunt Jill gave her.  The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day.  I pulled out my camera to capture this cute moment.  Well, yesterday, my doorbell rang and it was my neighbor Gerry.  He is a great photographer and captured this same moment without either of us knowing it.  They are precious and so wonderfully CANDID!  My only wish was I should have done her hair that day.  But still.  Priceless!
His Pics.....
Glowing!

And my pics.....

Voila!

Well the dresses are finished!  I took my sweet time.  They weren't too hard.  But don't look too close.  I'm not a perfectionist.  After seeing the girls in them it made me love the dresses even more!  I wish it was warmer outside to get some cute pics!  They are sundresses after all.  Soon enough.

I feel like Gymboree making matching hair bows! I found a great tutorial on how to make these cute fabric flowers online!

Happy times!

Maryjane has just discovered her laugh. This is just something I never want to forget. It's so precious to me.  She will be four months in a few days and she's changing so much!

This video shows our lack of video expertise.  I didn't have time to edit the video.
Have you ever played on Picnik ?  I'm having so much fun editing my photos!
